Maintenance Electrician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Berea, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
- Perform repairs and replacements of electrical components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to support overall facility operations.
- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid electrician's license is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts as needed.
