School Psychologist
School Psychologist-Full TimeJob Opening: The Fayette Local School is now accepting applications for a full time school psychologist positions for the 2026-2027. They will develop and provide a full range of comprehensive school psychological services to students, families, and schools in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. They will provide a broad range of services to meet the academic and mental health needs of students in the district to which they are assigned. Essential Functions: Participates in response to intervention team processes and consults with team membersContributes to the psycho-educational evaluation and assessment for students to determine educational needs and eligibility for special education servicesSummarize and interpret evaluation results and recommendations in written and verbal form in practical and understandable termsWhen needed, provides counseling services within the scope of training to individuals or groups of studentsWhen requested, develops, implements, and evaluates professional development opportunities for staff and/or families within the district they serveMaintains an adequate system of documentation and record keeping and meets deadlines for meetings, paperwork, and other responsibilitiesNetworks and makes referrals to outside agencies, when appropriate, to meet the needs of the students and families with whom they are workingMaintains confidentiality with regard to professional situationsEffectively utilizes technology to complete assigned dutiesDisplays professionalism through appearance, behavior, and attendanceQualifications: Candidates must have at least a Masters Degree and hold a valid Ohio Department of Education License in School Psychology and pass a background check.Contract: Beginning July 1, 2026Full time contract.Salary: Salary per salary schedule and is commensurate with experiencePlease submit a letter of interest, resume and references to Superintendent, Angie Belcher, [email protected] .
