North America iTrade Operations Planner

The North America iTrade Operations Planner is responsible for the daily planning operations, using standard work processes and solutions to create shipments, ensuring service requirements are met at the lowest possible cost. Key tasks include Route optimization, Daily Routing Guide Management, Event Monitoring and follow-up, Daily communication with carriers, Daily communication with ship sites, and communication with Customer Service Organization on an as-needed basis, and performance of trend analysis.
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.
Requirements (Skills / Experience) for the role:
- Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written, and verbal communication skills. We deal with global resources with limited face to face communication. Clear, concise written communication is vital as is the ability to communicate via phone/conference is critical. Able to work with internal and external teams to ensure continuous flow of goods.
- Problem Solving Skills: Due to the complex nature of international product moves via ocean and air, the planner needs to be able solve problems at macro and micro level. Daily issues arise that need quick resolution in order to minimize cost and maximize customer service results.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work across multiple internal organizations and levels, and with vendors to solve problems and establish new work processes. The international trade industry is in a rapidly changing regulatory, technological and business environment, so collaboration is key.
- Flexibility and Agility: The I-Trade Export Operations Team is a small group and our ability to "flow to the work" is crucial to the success of the team. The Analyst role within the team is split across several people and processes, but being able to learn and understand the entire export process and slide between those responsibilities is critical.
- Build Diverse, Collaborative Relationships - This role requires collaboration with both internal and external partners. This role will work directly with the 4th Party Logistics (4PL) managing the transportation flow. This role will also communicate to internal partners when there are delays or changes to orders.
- Operate with Discipline - Ability to organize processes and tasks required across multiple functions. Able to focus, knows how to prioritize and deliver results.
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Strong people and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new computer systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members, peers, and management.
- Overall understanding of international logistics - how products move within the global economy and how P&G executes these shipments from a compliance, cost and service standpoint. Transportation planning skills within Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)/ Transportation Management System (TMS).

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $64,000-$88,700
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
