Furnace Packer
Snelling Staffing is hiring for a FURNACE PACKER position in Canton.
- Pay is: $17 while training on 1st first
Pay is: $18.50 after training moved to afternoon (3p-11p) or midnights (11pm -7am)
- Weekly Pay
The duties involves:
loading and unloading electrodes into & from furnaces
packing them w/ insulating materials
monitoring the firing process.
This includes tasks like leveling, tamping insulating mixtures, attaching slings for crane operations, and ensuring proper insulation & cooling.
It’s a physically demanding role, potentially hot and fast-paced, requiring standing or walking for extended periods.
