A day in this role

Your shift starts with a safety huddle and a quick walk-through of the packaging lines. You review OEE from the prior run, align with Engineering and Maintenance on priorities, and set the team up for success. Throughout the day, you coach line leads, reinforce FDA GMP discipline, remove roadblocks, and keep eyes on labor, inventory, and downtime. You close with a brief stand-up, celebrate wins, and capture opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key outcomes you will drive

• Oversee packaging line operations to deliver safe, high quality, efficient production.
• Build a positive, high performance culture through hands-on coaching and training.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning to optimize flow.
• Apply Lean methods to elevate OEE and improve labor utilization.
• Control costs tied to labor, inventory, and equipment downtime.
• Ensure FDA Good Manufacturing Practices compliance and maintain a clean, organized workplace.
• Lead continuous improvement and structured problem solving activities.
• Champion safety by enforcing policies and participating in incident investigations when needed.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a filling or packaging environment, ideally cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
• At least 2 years supervising in manufacturing.
• Strength in leadership, collaboration, and practical problem solving.
