• We are hiring immediately for a full time CULINARY AMBASSADOR position.
• Location : Miami Valley Hospital - 1 Wyoming Street, Dayton, OH 45409. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time schedule. 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, days may vary; rotating weekends and holidays are included. More details upon interview.
• Requirement : 1 year of previous customer service experience is required.
• Perks: 15% weekend shift differential!
• Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Monitors customers and makes recommendations to their diets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages food allergens.
• Modifies menus according to diet prescriptions.
• Provides basic diet information throughout a patient’s stay.
• Acts according to Joint Commissions/CMS standards and regulations for infection prevention control.
• Communicates with patients, their visitors and the hospital’s care team.
• Resolves patient dining concerns or complaints immediately.
• Reports a patient’s need for assistance to a supervisor or the care team, as appropriate.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
