As the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our Reading Site project, you will lead the creation and implementation of a safe, compliant, and sustainable construction environment. You'll be an important partner in shaping our EHS culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to all internal policies and external regulations. Your Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
You'll Report to: Project Director
You will:
Direct and support all Environmental, Health, and Safety functions for the Reading Site project.
Implement and administer Contractor Safety Management Plan for the project.
Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company standards.
Lead site EHS training for employees and contractors, promoting proactive safety engagement.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations to find and address risks.
Act as point of contact for Ohio EPA during site construction.
Manage emergency preparedness, environmental programs, and waste management programs.
Be the primary contact for regulatory agencies and maintain partner relationships.
Track and report EHS KPIs, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement actions.
Develop Safety Programs for new site operations, which are scheduled to begin in Q2 2027.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in EHS management within construction or industrial environments.
Relevant EHS certifications and qualifications.
5+ years of experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.
Experience with construction safety management, process safety, auditing, and emergency response.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits:
The established salary range for this position is $143,000-$163,000k annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Medical, dental, and vision coverage and a high-matching 401(k) retirement plan.
