Salary Range: $71,691 - $86,983

Job Requirements
Age: 18 or older
Citizenship: U.S. citizen
Driver's License: Valid
Language: Proficient in reading and speaking English
Vision: 20/20 (correctable)
Education: No degree required
Certifications Needed:
State of Ohio Firefighter I or II
State of Ohio Paramedic
Hazardous Materials Operations Level
Additional certifications, including CPR and ACLS, as required
Hiring Process
Candidates must hold all required certifications and complete the following steps for consideration. Meeting these qualifications does not guarantee employment.

City of Maumee Application: Complete and submit an application, available at the City of Maumee Human Resources Department, 400 Conant St., Maumee, OH 43537, or through the City's website.
Physical Agility Test: Provide documentation of current Firefighter Mile completion, or a valid CPAT completed within one year of application.
Verification: Submit applicable certifications, licenses, and other required documents.
Background Check: Complete a comprehensive background investigation.
Interviews and Approvals: Selected candidates will undergo an interview, city administrator review, and physical examination. Final approval requires City Council authorization.
