Estimator

PCI Services (Process Construction) is currently seeking to fill a full-time estimating position. Our estimating team provides firm bids, budgetary estimates and not to exceed pricing for our customers’ mechanical needs. This position would work directly with our Construction division to provide estimating services for various bid opportunities. This includes new installations, replacement / remodels, and shutdown / service-oriented bids.

Job duties more specifically include but are not limited to:

- Making site visits and attending project walk-thru’s to get accurate information for bidding purposes.

- “Stripping drawings” to get labor and material counts as needed.

- Contact our vendors for material quotes and equipment rental rates as needed.

- Utilize our estimating software to summarize accurate and complete estimates.

- Keep accurate records and evaluate actual project performance vs bid estimates.

- Work in conjunction with other estimators to provide assistance in various forms.

- Support our project management group at the beginning of and throughout projects as it relates to bid package information and interpretation.

Qualifications:

- Education in the mechanical industry.

- At least 5 years of experience in bidding mechanical projects.

- A strong working knowledge of mechanical systems.

- Proper organization skills, entrepreneurial, a strong work ethic, and leadership capabilities.

- Previous field experience in the mechanical industry is a bonus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
