Plant Materials Handling Equipment Operator
Step into a day on our floor
At 5:55 AM you lace up your safety-toe boots, meet the crew, and plan the morning moves. By 6:00 AM you're on the floor, steering materials where they need to go with a sit-down forklift or skid steer, keeping production on pace. You stay alert to changing priorities, talk often with team leads, and visually check finished materials to make sure quality stays high. The shift runs to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and you leave knowing the line kept moving because of you.
Role highlights
- Schedule: 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Pay: Starting at $19 per hour

What you'll do
- Operate material handling equipment to move, stage, and load product (primary: sit-down forklift; also skid steer; tow motor/backhoe loader exposure is a plus)
- Perform visual quality checks and sort finished materials as needed
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and department leaders to coordinate work
- Support production with other related tasks as assigned
What you'll bring
- Prior industrial work experience with solid knowledge of safe practices
- Proficiency with skid steer operation and hands-on material handling experience
- Forklift experience preferred; tow motor/backhoe loader experience a plus (not required)
- Ability to stand the entire shift and regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Steel-toe or composite safety-toe footwear (required)
- Comfort working in a hot/cold environment with limited temperature control (cooler in winter, warmer in summer)
