Position Summary:

Revere Middle School is seeking a dynamic and motivated Middle School Physical Education Teacher for a half-time, one-year-only position for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will deliver developmentally appropriate physical education instruction that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits for middle school students.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned physical education lessons for middle school students

• 
  Promote student participation, sportsmanship, and safe physical activity

• 
  Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback aligned with district expectations

• 
  Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment

• 
  Collaborate with colleagues and support school-wide initiatives

• 
  Comply with all school policies, procedures, and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license in Physical Education (or ability to obtain prior to August 14, 2026)

• 
  Experience working with middle school students preferred

• 
  Strong classroom management and communication skills

• 
  Commitment to student well-being and physical fitness education

Work Schedule & Contract Details:

• Half-time position (0.5 FTE)

• 
  One-year contract only; not eligible for renewal

• 
  Salary and benefits prorated in accordance with the Revere Local School District negotiated agreement
