Position: Fabricator/Welder

Location: Smithville, Ohio

Shift: First shift, standard 8-hour days (6:00 am to 2:30 pm), willingness to work 10-hour days and occasional Saturdays (6:00 am to noon)

Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Description:
Mancan, in partnership with a leading steel fabrication company in Smithville, Ohio, is seeking experienced TIG welder/fabricators to join their team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and fabrication of finished metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and precision.

Responsibilities:
1. Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products according to specifications.
2. Install and repair various equipment and components using welding techniques such as GTAW (Tig) and GMAW (Mig).
3. Read, understand, and follow engineering blueprints to meet product specifications.
4. Calculate material measurements to verify adherence to specifications.
5. Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in fabricating, welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
2. Proficiency in GTAW (Tig) and GMAW (Mig) welding techniques.
3. Familiarity with fabricating and welding equipment, tools, and procedures.
4. Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
5. Strong attention to detail and precision.
6. Ability to handle a physical workload.
