Maintenance/Die Setter Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $52,000.00 to $65,000.00 /annually
• Second Shift (Monday through Thursday)

• We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Die Setter to join our manufacturing team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining stamping presses, performing general repairs, preventative maintenance on production equipment and ensuring that production runs smoothly.
• This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Set up and try out dies in the press; make tooling adjustments to achieve part quality, dimensional accuracy, and process capability
• Perform routine maintenance on presses, tappers and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Changeover tappers; chaser, reamer heads.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate press setup.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot issues related to press performance, tappers and production equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production process.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards within the manufacturing facility.
• Perform routine maintenance, breakdown and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.

Maintenance/Die Setter Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State of Ohio Maintenance Journeymen card, preferred
• Experience troubleshooting issues related to press performance, tappers and production equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate press setup
