Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer III to join our team in Cleveland, OH . In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing complex structural engineering projects for various types of buildings and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion
- Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for complex structures
- Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
- Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and standards
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Utilize advanced structural analysis software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and innovative structural engineering practices
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong skills in finite element analysis and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experience with various building materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
- In-depth understanding of building codes, standards, and seismic design principles
- Proven experience in project leadership and team management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with project management software and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration)
- LEED AP certification is a plus
