Job Description:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 24-bed Renal/Medical Surgical unit specializing in kidney disease and kidney transplant care. This unit provides care for transplant patients, general med/surg patients, and patients requiring specialized renal treatments including peritoneal dialysis. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment and floating as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for renal and medical/surgical patients

• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Support kidney transplant patients throughout the continuum of care

• Perform specialized renal care including peritoneal dialysis procedures

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate patient documentation

• Provide culturally competent and age-specific patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing required

• Previous acute care RN experience required

• Experience in renal, transplant, or med/surg settings preferred

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced hospital environments

• Ability to float as needed

Certifications:

• Current Ohio RN License or Compact License required

• BLS Certification (AHA) required
