HAAS CNC Milling Specialist (Setup & Operation)
A day in the life — First shift in Toledo, OH
When the doors open on first shift, you’ll take ownership of a HAAS CNC machining center and turn raw stock into precision parts. You’ll plan your setup, dial in tooling, and verify every cut so components leave your station on time and to spec. If you love hands-on work and the rhythm of high-accuracy manufacturing, this is your spot.
What you’ll handle
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC machining equipment to produce precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan machining operations.
- Monitor cutting conditions and make program/offset adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running at peak performance.
- Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and specification compliance.
- Partner with teammates to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Maintain an orderly, safe, and compliant work area.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificate or technical degree preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience as a HAAS machinist with strong process knowledge.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Working familiarity with CNC programming and machine operation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
