Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Cincinnati OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents maintenance concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property including common areas entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity at the location reporting suspicious behavior unsecured doors lighting issues and/or other property concerns according to post orders.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence following assigned patrol routes and assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
