Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Springfield, OH 45504 (Ohio physical therapy jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Rehab Unit (24 beds)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• End Date: December 1, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (Full-Time Physical Therapist)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, flexible start times, Monday–Friday; occasional Saturday (once a month) with a weekday off
• Dress Code: Pewter Grey scrubs
• Parking: Free parking available in front of the hospital
• EMR System: Epic
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1730

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain before start date
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist; Acute Rehab and QI scoring experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and time management skills
• Vaccination strongly encouraged per facility requirements

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in the Acute Rehab Unit
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient progress and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families on therapy objectives and home exercise programs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
