CVOR Nurse - New Castle, DE
- Active and valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CVOR or high-acuity surgical setting
- Strong grasp of CVOR procedures, aseptic technique, and advanced surgical instrumentation
- BLS and ACLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shift schedules may be available; willingness to accommodate variable hours and participate in call rotation required
- Circulate and scrub for complex cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring optimal patient safety and support for surgeons
- Monitor and respond to patients' needs throughout perioperative phases
- Set up, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of specialized CVOR equipment and supplies
- Maintain rigorous infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Document assessments, intraoperative details, and post-op status accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and other team members for seamless care transitions
