Small Wonders Discovery & Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead School Age Teacher to join our West Branch team. What We’re Looking For

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)At least 1 year of Lead Teacher experience in a licensed school-age or preschool program (required)
• Strong classroom management, planning, and communication skills
• A nurturing educator who loves working with children ages 5–12
• Familiarity with Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a plus
• Ability to meet ODJFS licensing requirements, including BCI/FBI background checks

What You’ll Do

• Lead a school-age classroom/program for children ages 5–12
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate before/after-school activities and full-day programming on non-school days
• Support homework time, social skills, problem-solving, and independence
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Track and document participation and progress
