Full-time
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Pay $22 - $28 an hour DOE

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Weld Technician to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for setting up welding machines that perform resistance and projection welding.
In addition, the candidate must be able to program robotic welders to MIG weld a variety of stamped assemblies.

Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various methods such as MIG welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding schematics
- Conduct root cause analysis on welding defects and implement corrective actions
- Utilize robot programming for automated welding processes
- Operate Motoman and logic controllers for welding equipment
- Utilize tooling and fixtures to aid in the welding process
- Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading
- Apply mechanical knowledge to ensure proper welds
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles in the welding process
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for design modifications

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Weld Tech or similar role.
- Certification in welding techniques is preferred
- Proficiency in various welding methods including MIG, TIG.
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques
- Familiarity with Motoman and logic controllers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling and fixtures

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
Robotic welding: 1 year (Preferred)
