Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon–Fri, typically 8:00–4:30; flexible earlier hours as needed)
Pay: $7,000/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist for a travel assignment providing forensic and inpatient psychiatric services. The Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, prescribe medications, and provide psychotherapy and counseling. This is a weekday day-shift role with no weekend or holiday requirement. The environment includes forensic populations and transition to Epic charting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, examine, and diagnose psychiatric patients
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services
• Develop and oversee treatment plans
• Monitor and coordinate psychiatric aspects of patient care
• Review patient records for accuracy and completeness
• Provide clinical guidance to medical and direct care staff
• Participate in lectures and educational sessions for staff
• Support forensic and high-acuity psychiatric cases
• Document care in the electronic medical record system

Qualifications

• Valid physician license to practice medicine required
• Completion of approved psychiatry residency program required
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry preferred
• Eligibility under applicable state psychiatric practice standards
• Experience in forensic or inpatient psychiatry preferred
• Ability to prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Willingness to work with forensic populations
• Ongoing continuing education and license renewal required
