BLEND OPERATOR

Are you a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced production environment? We are looking for a dedicated Blend Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be the "chemist" behind the scenes, ensuring our flexographic inks are blended to perfection while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
The Ink Technician is responsible for the precise formulation and production of flexographic inks. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing and quality control, requiring a mix of technical accuracy, physical stamina, and a "safety-first" mindset. You will manage the entire lifecycle of a batch-from pulling raw materials with a forklift to labeling the final packaged product.
Schedule & Compensation
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $22.16 per hour
Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership: Work safely at all times by wearing required PPE, participating in safety training/programs, and strictly adhering to all established safety procedures.
Ink Production: Produce high-quality batches of flexographic ink according to specific formulas.
Documentation & Organization: Maintain rigorous documentation of batches, ensure proper labeling of containers, and manage packaging materials.
Warehouse & Logistics: Operate forklifts to pull raw materials, stage supplies for production, and organize finished goods.
Maintenance & Housekeeping: Keep a "tour-ready" workspace by cleaning production containers and maintaining general shop cleanliness.
Cross-Functional Support: Participate in quality assurance processes and provide coverage in other departments as needed to meet production goals.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Industry Experience: Prior experience in flexographic printing, chemical blending, or paint/ink manufacturing.
Quality Mindset: Familiarity with quality control (QC) testing or lean manufacturing principles.
Adaptability: A "team player" attitude with the flexibility to jump into different departments when the mission requires it.

Qualifications:
Safety-First Mentality: A proven track record of following strict safety protocols in an industrial setting.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to follow complex recipes/formulas and document work with high accuracy.
Physical Capability: Must be able to handle the physical demands of a production floor, including lifting and moving materials.
Forklift Proficiency: Experience operating a forklift (or a strong willingness to be trained and certified).
