Experienced/Certified Service Technician

Job Summary: Join our team at SVG Motors! We're on the lookout for dedicated and skilled Certified Technicians to enhance our automotive family. As an Automotive Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing vehicles in our service bay. Your expertise will contribute to a seamless process, ensuring accurate information reaches our service manager and advisors for all vehicles processed through the company. Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently execute tasks specified on the repair order in line with dealership policies
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to test components and systems
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, from engines to air conditioning
• Maintain open communication with Service Advisors to keep customers well-informed
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repair times
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience strongly preferred
• ASE Certification required
• GM Experience Preferred
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Proficient knowledge of new vehicle technologies
• Team-oriented with an ambitious and hardworking presence
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license required
