Senior Product Operations Leader
- Provide leadership for assigned hardware including technical, cost, delivery and quality. Support the definition of overall program plans and translate plans into requirements and milestones for the procurement of assigned hardware. Serves as manufacturing representative for PCB, Tollgate, MRL, TRL and Technical reviews for assigned hardware
- Requires specialized knowledge across product lines, markets or customer groups. Requires strong industry awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their hardware.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Acts as advocate for Flight Deck in Product Operations function.
- Lean practitioner that actively learns and practices to build lean skills from both a cultural and tool based perspective.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/ GED with 4 years' experience in product management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or product management role.
- Ability obtain and maintain US DoD Clearance
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across the matrix
- GE NPI Tollgate and Military Qualification processes
- Active Security Clearance (AP level clearance preferred)
- Familiarity with military-unique advanced engine technologies
- Ability to achieve business outcomes while maintaining compliance to security requirements
