We currently have an opening for aProduct Manager in our Mason, Ohiolocation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Market research to identify new product and market opportunities and define them to the organization.
- Ability to create financial analysis, forecasts, pricing strategies and competitive analysis for new product initiatives.
- Own and perform product portfolio management for assigned segment, identifying potential gaps and prospects within channels and markets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to introduce new products to the market in accordance with launch schedules.
- Gather competitive intelligence and amass for easy reference.
- Utilize StageGate process for New Product Development initiatives
- Development of marketing plans including product launches, technical documentation, demonstrations, and promotions as required.
- Work with Sales and Marketing Communications teams to develop effective marketing campaigns for launched products.

We have an excellent opportunity for aProduct Manager of our Rolling Productsto develop, execute and own strategy for our product lines under Clopay, Cornell & Cookson brands. This role will be responsible for management of our current line, as well as future innovation. This will include developing a deep understanding of the assigned product and target segments to create plans for new product development efforts, product roadmaps and promotional initiatives as well as product management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success innew product ideation & commercialization, possess natural curiosity, and has the ability to deeply understand segmented audiences and translate their needs into our product marketing business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business or engineering
- Relevant work experience will be considered
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Marketing, Sales, or related field with 1-3 years relevant experience in product management
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with the analytical side of Excel
- Collaboration with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- A BS or graduate degree and/or background in Fire Protection Engineering is desirable
- MBA
- Work experience in Fire Protection, Manufacturing, Construction or Building Materials preferred
- Understanding of StageGate, PhaseGate, or similar NPD processes
- Garage door experience is preferred
