Sr. Analyst Engineering
Maintain and support production with best Quality & Cost. Collaborate with Process partners and improve/optimize the assembly processes & product level requirements to achieve First Pass Yield, Assembly Yield, SIR targets Scope and manage low complexity projects from Concept to PV including schedule, cost and quality. Track, coordinate & manage the Trans Regional Sales requirement needs with the key stakeholders and issue GPAs Drive delivery of V&V plan and GPA while incorporating Mathematical & Physical Approaches for predictability & design limit understanding. Lead and own the DFM reviews with supplier and validate the Design/Tool modifications. Partner with Materials, Procurement, Sub-System teams to determine the potential alternate components/supplier for any MoB (Maintenance of Business) related situations. Support the operations of production line by finding solutions for material/part shortages, test & validate the new parts/system, issue variance in a timely manner to prevent line downtime. Add, replace and omit parts of the system to make new product offering. Integrate, validate and approve IDPs and Knowledge Gaps & Closure plans while considering Architecture, Technology and Manufacturing Roadmaps/ Strategies. Coordinate NOM safety and Energy Re-certifications to make sure all TRS models are recertified before their expiration date. Support in TRS certification on new bundles and release GPA Extensions for regulated and non-regulated countries. Domestic travel required 2-4 times per year. May work remotely from anywhere for up to 2 weeks per year.
REQUIREMENTS : Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation; or Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time". Required expertise/knowledge includes:
- Experience with SAP ERP and CAD/CAM.
- Experience evaluating and resolving quality and assembly issues and working with vendors for design changes or improvements.
- Experience with BOM maintenance, change notices, SAP maintenance, drawing updates, and cost savings/avoidance.
- Project management experience, including managing multiple Cost Savings & Quality Improvement projects at the same time.
- Project management tools and techniques, including AGILE methodology.
- Operational Excellence (OPEX) experience.
- Experience using A3, Business Case, Smartsheets, IDP & Gantt.
- Systematic Problem Solving experience.
