Senior Program Manager- Aerospace Aftermarket Support/Repairs
- Program Leadership : Lead and manage aerospace programs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to SQDC principles.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Project Planning : Develop detailed program plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure program success.
- Performance Monitoring : Track program progress, report on key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply lean principles to optimize program processes and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of related experience)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or contracts management
- This position requires U.S. citizenship status
- Ability to sit onsite at the Vandalia, OH facility
- No remote option for this role
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% based on business needs
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse perspectives to drive innovative solutions and achieve organizational goals
- A minimum of 8years of experience in program management within the Aerospace/Aviation industry
- Familiarity with GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating model
- Experience with Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, and Standard Work principles
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Strong knowledge of lean methodologies and project management tools
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
