Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician | 2nd Shift | $26-$29/HR | Louisville, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician for our 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including mandatory overtime and some weekends. This role involves analyzing and troubleshooting electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on industrial equipment and facilities repairs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and operational problems on industrial equipment.
• Perform facilities repairs and maintenance.
• Work on components such as conveyors, gears, bearings, motors, sensors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule and perform emergency breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Essential Skills

• Industrial maintenance with a focus on highly mechanical and basic-intermediate electrical maintenance.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience with gears, bearings, conveyors, motors, and sensors.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems such as PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic electrical maintenance and computer skills, including Windows.
• Safety-oriented mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year certificate from college/technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of relevant maintenance experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Nice to have experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
