Overview
Go Solutions is working with a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality aluminum greenhouses and greenhouse accessories. We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our growing team.The company manufacturers a premium customizable greenhouse solution for homes and commercial properties (typically wineries, event spaces, restaurants). We also offer greenhouse environmental systems that support growing solutions.
As a Sales Consultant for a variety of the company's brands , you will be responsible for new greenhouse sales and assist in other product and marketing asset development. You will be expected to create relationships and drive orders with customers(homeowners, contractors, and architects), develop your customer base by contacting new leads, following up on quote requests, and collaborate on projects with new and existing customers. You will be expected to collaborate with others to source new solutions and assist with the development of fresh marketing assets.
Location: This full-time position based in Madison, OH .
Duties
- Handle Incoming Calls and Email - handle incoming telephone calls, voicemail or email from customers and prospects that are sales related. Use proactive email communication, to complement telephone or in-person communication with customers.
- Continually Improves Knowledge - Understand features, benefits and product changes, and keep current with industry and competitor information, then incorporate knowledge within the selling approach, as needed.
- Build Sales Pipeline - Build a strong sales pipeline. Identify customers who may purchase products and services at some point in the future, and plan and schedule follow-up communication. Collaborate primarily with homeowners, general contractors, and architects.
- Deliver Proposal Opportunities to customers - Upon identification of a proposal opportunity, align the client with the appropriate technical resource to develop a proposal. See the process through to closing of the sale, delivery of the product, and project completion.
- Use Sales CRM - Utilize a customer relationship management system (CRM) to plan, prioritize, track and measure selling activities. Create and input weekly sales information and update customer contact information.
- Help develop additional product greenhouse solutions by working with our operations team to expand our current offerings or leading development of new alternative sources (imports or other). Help develop sales and marketing aids to enhance marketing tools.
- Make Proactive Contact with Existing and Potential Clients - make proactive contacts with existing customers and leads generated by both the organization and through sourcing opportunities through services (Dodge Reports and others), partners, trade shows, and other sources.
- Meet Sales Goals - Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales productivity, and customer service goals. (Annual goals TBD)
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of sales or customers service experience.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals while managing multiple customer projects and sales tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service Role (specifically in customer-facing capacity).
- Experience in a deadline-oriented environment, with ability to handle changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills required to manage potential for large volume of projects.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Nice To Have
- Experience selling a premium product or in the construction, architectural,horticultural or agricultural industry
- Experience reading plans/blueprints specifications
- History of using a CRM.
- Associate or bachelor's Degree in a related field (ex. Architecture, Design, Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in an office setting and occasional job site visits

Compensation: $20 - $27/hr plus an annual bonus up to $8000
