Job Description:

The State of Ohio - Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is seeking a Product Specialist 5 (PS5) with extensive experience in .Net Core development, Microservices, Blazor, and Microsoft Azure . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in security integration, and experience working with cloud-based solutions.

Specialty Areas:

• .Net Application Development – Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying .Net Core applications using Microservices and Blazor .
  

• Cloud & Security Integration – Expertise in Azure container apps (ACA) and integrating security protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, IAM, and SSO within .Net applications.
  

• DevOps & CI/CD – Strong background in Azure DevOps and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines .
  

• Data & Interface Management – Experience integrating .Net applications with multiple interfaces and databases. Experience with fetch protocol in Dynamics or SOQL with Salesforce is highly desired.
  

• Technical Leadership & Collaboration – Ability to work in cross-functional teams, interpret software requirements, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software solutions.
  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy .Net applications using Microservices, Blazor, and Microsoft Azure .
  

• Implement security integrations within .Net applications.
  

• Develop new features while integrating with multiple interfaces .
  

• Maintain and enhance existing application codebases .
  

• Manage and optimize Azure resources and services to ensure high availability and scalability.
  

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  

• Implement DevOps best practices for CI/CD pipelines .
  

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  

• Develop and maintain technical documentation .
  

Skill Matrix:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in .Net Core, C#, and SQL development .
  

• Strong experience with Microservice Architecture and Azure-based solutions .
  

• Proficiency in security integration within .Net applications.
  

• Ability to deploy, manage, and scale applications using Azure Container Apps (ACA) .
  

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and handling multiple integration points .
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Fetch Protocol in Dynamics or SOQL with Salesforce .
  

• Strong expertise in CI/CD and Azure DevOps for application deployment.
  

• Familiarity with Okta, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, IAM, and SSO for security integration.
