- Be the First Point of Contact: Manage incoming referrals with professionalism and compassion, ensuring smooth admissions for patients and families
- Master the Details: Complete thorough insurance verifications, benefit checks, and maintain organized filing systems
- Keep Operations Running: Handle daily office needs including phones, scheduling, spreadsheets, budget tracking, and office supply management
- Support Our Clinical Team: Coordinate administrative tasks that enable our caregivers to focus on delivering excellent patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
- 2+ years experience in healthcare office management or medical office administration
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and ability to learn new software systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional phone manner and strong communication skills
- Experience with insurance verification
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Previous hospice, home health, or healthcare billing experience
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid insurance processes
- Experience with budget tracking and spreadsheet management
- Familiarity with medical terminology
