Jr Financial Analyst (Gentek)

OBJECTIVES

• Develop strategic relationships across various parts and levels of the business, leveraging core responsibilities of the position to create business value.
• Develop and deliver timely and accurate forecast, budgets, reports and analysis for assigned business units.
• Measurably improve assigned business units operational and financial performance through industry accepted financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insights and results for SG&A to bring a more robust decision making process to deliver insights across the enterprise.
• Identify and analyze operational results to identify opportunities for improvement and partner with Operations to drive improvements.
• Develop reporting tools to better facilitate communication between Sales and Operations to increase sales growth.
• Leverage business process knowledge and data querying skills to obtain / validate / analyze data. As necessary, present data and relevant conclusions to management, sales, operations, and other business unit stakeholders.
• Analyze information requests, assess current sources, and determine best (i.e. effective and efficient) means to meet information needs.
• Compile routine and ad hoc research & analysis in support of management's business unit objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance is required with a MBA preferred
• 3 plus years of progressive experience in FP&A role in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table, Formulas, Standard Reports, etc.)
• Proficiency with delivering analysis and SG&A experience
• Experience in financial reporting and variance analysis
• Experience with Data analytics
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills
