Mancan is working with a company in Mt Vernon seeking an accounting/administrative clerk. This is a temp to hire opportunity, starting out part time with the potential for full time employment for the right candidate. Hours are 8am-4pm, 3 days per week. Pay is based on experience $17-$19/hour to start with an increase to $25/hour once hired permanently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and process AP invoices
- Perform accounts payable support and related recordkeeping
- Complete general data entry with accuracy and consistency
- Assist with customer service and general office communication
- File, scan, and digitize records and documents
- Order and track office supplies
- Complete daily mail runs, bank runs, and other office errands as needed
- Serve as the first point of contact and gatekeeper for the Controller and Accounts Receivable associates
- Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications:
- Prior accounting, clerical, bookkeeping, or administrative office experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks and strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Working knowledge of pivot tables, including the ability to manipulate data, develop pivot tables, and generate reports
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Must possess a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle for bank runs, mail runs, and other errands. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
