What you’ll be doing

1. Unloads and receives inbound freight.
2. Verifies the correctness of all incoming/outgoing product picked.
3. Monitors all temperatures upon arrival/departure according to HACCP/USDA regulations.
4. Ensures/maintains a clean and safe work environment.
5. Helps maintain the organization of all product in the warehouse.
6. Works efficiently to ensure product turnover.
7. Provides timely information to aid the Supervisor/Plant Manager with decisions.
8. Makes recommendations to improve efficiencies as needed.
9. Helps maintain and resolve inventory issues as they arise.
10. Ensures timely product rotation.
11. Monitors and ensures short dated items receive immediate attention.
12. Assists staff members in other departments as needed or directed.
13. Additional duties as needed or directed.

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Read and comprehend instructions
2. Stand and walk for extended periods of time
3. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
4. Previous forklift and warehouse experience a plus
5. High School education preferred.
6. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.

Pay: Based on experience

Job Type

1. Monday through Friday work week, 7:00am - 3pm
2. Part-time with potential to be full-time
3. Variable environments, including coolers, freezers, and wet conditions.
