Fire Sprinkler Installation Estimator

Location: Northeast Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $75,000–$110,000 annually + Bonus (Based on Experience)

Fire Protection Solutions is a growing commercial fire protection contractor specializing in fire sprinkler installation, tenant improvements, warehouse retrofits, and new construction. We're looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Estimator who enjoys solving problems, building accurate bids, and helping win projects.

This position is ideal for someone with field experience, estimating experience, or fire sprinkler design knowledge who wants to become a key part of a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material counts
• Develop labor estimates for commercial sprinkler installations
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare competitive proposals and bid packages
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and operations
• Attend pre-bid meetings when required
• Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating pipeline
• Participate in project turnover meetings after award
• Assist with value engineering and alternate pricing

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• 3+ years of commercial fire sprinkler experience
• Experience estimating NFPA 13, 13R, 13D fire sprinkler systems
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Understanding of hydraulic calculations and sprinkler layouts (preferred but not required)
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills

NICET certification is a plus but not required.
