Assemblers, Kitters and Fabricators, Light
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Assembly Technician with hands-on experience using power tools to assemble large or complex components. This role involves following work instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality assembly in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
First shift schedule: 7am-3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy assembly of parts, components, or equipment using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and blueprints
- Safely operate power tools such as impact wrenches, drills, grinders, and torque tools
- Lift, position, and secure heavy components during assembly
- Inspect assembled products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in heavy assembly or industrial manufacturing
- Strong proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
