Main Responsibilities:

1. Partner with our lead teacher to craft engaging and age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to learning and development.
2. Design and execute a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that sparks curiosity and fosters critical thinking.
3. Collaborate with our team to develop and implement learning experiences that align with our center's educational philosophy and goals.
4. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing tailored support and guidance as needed to ensure they reach their full potential.
5. Nurture positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and partnerships to support learning and growth.
6. Accurately document children's progress, attendance, and other essential information, adhering to regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma and a commitment to continuing education through a scholarship-based opportunity to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher in Early Childhood Education
• Proven experience working with toddler-age children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of constructivist teaching approaches and their application in early childhood education, or a growth mindset to learn and adapt to this approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
• Understanding of child development principles and effective practices in early childhood education.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.

A Plus:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field would be a valuable asset.
• Experience with curriculum planning and lesson design will make you a standout candidate.
• Familiarity with state licensing regulations and early learning standards is a bonus.

• In addition to competitive hourly rate, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance. Paid vision and life insurance.
