Precision Quality Control Inspector - First Article & In-Process

About the Role

On our 2nd shift, you are the guardian of product reliability. From the first part off the line to in-process checks, you evaluate statistical trends and verify that every component meets exacting standards.

A Day in the Life

• Conduct first article inspections using customer-provided forms and document results with precision.
• Work independently, following detailed procedures, forms, and manuals to guide your decisions.
• Perform in-process audits, reviewing operator methods and process performance against specifications in material routings.
• Leverage control plans, material routing instructions, computer printouts, and Pareto charts to drive quality decisions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas; collaborate with management and engineering to establish quality and reliability standards.
• Test parts and products for dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
• Record data and apply statistical quality control (SQC) techniques to monitor and improve outcomes.

• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years of relevant experience/training, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
