Position Overview:

The residential HVAC Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field execution across residential HVAC service and installation work. This role supports technicians directly through ride-alongs, jobsite visits, coaching, and real-time troubleshooting, while partnering closely with dispatch and management to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

The ideal candidate is a senior or lead HVAC technician with strong technical expertise, leadership potential, and a passion for developing others.

Position Entails:

Field Leadership & Technician Support:

• Support and coach residential HVAC service and installation technicians in the field
• Conduct ride-alongs, jobsite visits, and quality inspections
• Provide technical troubleshooting and job execution guidance
• Reinforce professionalism, customer communication, and brand standards

Operations Support:

• Partner with dispatch to support daily scheduling and job flow
• Assist with same-day issues, callbacks, reschedules, and field escalations
• Identify execution gaps and communicate improvement opportunities to management

Training & Development:

• Support onboarding and field training for new technicians
• Reinforce safety practices, documentation standards, and code compliance
• Assist with ongoing technical training and certification readiness

Customer Experience:

• Support resolution of workmanship-related customer concerns
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience in the field
• Act as a role model for service excellence and professionalism

Compliance and Safety:

• Enforce safety standards, PPE usage, and vehicle expectations
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with local codes and company policies
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience (service and/or installation)
• Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting skills
• Prior leadership exposure (Lead Tech, Trainer, or Mentor preferred)
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities
• EPA Certification
• ServiceTitan experience desired
• Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record; ability to obtain a chauffeur’s license if needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solve effectively, and support multiple technicians daily
