Job Title: Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Euclid, OH

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Unit: Operating Room (OR)

Shift: Day Shift | 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Must be available to work every other holiday

Pay Rate: $2,270 Weekly (Gross)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Travel RN – OR to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The nurse will assist in orthopedic surgeries, including total joint procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for orthopedic procedures.

• Assist surgeons during total joint surgeries and other orthopedic procedures.

• Monitor patients’ vital signs, anesthesia, and overall condition during surgery.

• Document procedures, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.

• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols.

• Work holidays as required (every other holiday).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License (required).

• Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent OR experience with strong orthopedic background; prior permanent OR experience required.

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA

• Technical Skills: Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required.
