West Side manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Operator and Programmer for this full-time position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of organization production quotas
- Ergonomics
- General shop and machine safety
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate metal stamping or metalworking machines
- Manipulating or operating various objects
- Indirect labor, cleaning, sweeping; organizing, stacking and packing parts, boxes and pallet assemblies
- Lifting up to 40 lbs
- Report IMMEDIATELY to direct supervisor any changes in the process operation
- Observing and reporting defective or hazardous disruptions or disturbances regarding safety, machine operation or running of defective parts
- Punctuality in arriving on time to report for assigned shift
- Maintain work quotas and projects
- Following instructions including, but not limited to, supervisor instructions; safety procedures and policies as outlined in all manuals
