At Cincinnati Veterinary Surgical and Wellness Center , we know it takes a village to care for pets, and our Veterinary Assistants are essential to everything we do. We are seeking a F ull-Time Experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least 1 to 2 years of clinical veterinary assistant experience to join our team and bring skill, compassion, and confidence to every exam room, treatment area, and surgery prep.

You'll Thrive Here If You:

• Have at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Truly love animals and treat them with patience and compassion.

What you'll do:

• Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with client communication.
• Preparing patients for exams and surgical procedures.
• Administering medications as directed.
• Assisting with in-house lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.).
• Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, kennels, and surgical instruments.
• Monitoring post-operative patients and reporting changes promptly.
• Safely restraining patients during exams and treatments.
• Educating pet parents on medications, treatments, and aftercare.
• Working closely with our Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to deliver top-tier care.
