Long term, evolving company wants to offer you the flexibility that you deserve! They are adding a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team! The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and support multi-site FP&A activities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Financial Planning and Strategy: Support the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
• Performance Modeling: Create and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate various business scenarios and overall performance.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze discrepancies between actual results and budgeted or forecasted figures, providing clear explanations for the key drivers behind these variances.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
• Business Insights: Partner with business leaders to identify operational drivers and provide actionable insights regarding cost trends, revenue, and profitability.
• Cash Management: Manage short-term liquidity by preparing and enhancing a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast and monitoring daily cash positions.
• Treasury and Compliance: Assist with lender information requests, bank reporting, and the tracking of financial covenants and borrowing base certificates.
• Strategic Initiative Support: Provide financial modeling and analysis for growth initiatives, cost transformations, capital investments, or restructuring projects.
• Investment Evaluation: Develop ROI analyses and business cases to support investment decisions and track the realized benefits of various company initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with teams across the organization to translate high-level strategic objectives into specific, measurable financial targets.

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, excellent problem solving, be hands on, be able to build rapport with team members and management, have good work history and enjoy working within a team-oriented environment. Individuals should feel comfortable doing presentations in front of leadership teams.

Requirements for the Financial Analyst:
1. Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Finance or Accounting
2. At least 3-5 years in a similar financial analyst position

3. Experience performing similar FP&A functions in manufacturing and/or distribution environments

4. Strong working knowledge of GAAP
5. Experience with budgeting and forecasting

6. Experience improving KPIs

7. Exceptional financial analysis skills

8. Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel skills

Skills that are preferred, BUT NOT required:
1. ERP experience
2. Power BI

3. MBA or CPA
