The Onsite Technician (Level 2) provides hands-on technical support across MCPC’s client locations in Akron and Barberton , delivering advanced endpoint troubleshooting, hardware support, and local technical assistance. This position serves as the primary on-site technical presence, ensuring stable operations, reduced escalations, and a high-quality end-user experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 desktop and endpoint support at both Akron and Barberton client sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents involving Windows OS, O365, endpoint security, hardware failures, imaging issues, and application problems.
• Perform hands-on support for peripheral devices: printers, monitors, docking stations, UPS units, and basic network touchpoints.
• Execute workstation maintenance, refreshes, device replacements, and patching-related tasks as scheduled.
• Collaborate with MCPC escalation teams and follow established SLAs, documentation standards, and ITSM workflows.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused on-site experience and act as a trusted technical resource for end users.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in desktop support, field services, or on-site technical roles.
• Strong proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, imaging tools, and endpoint management technologies.
• Solid troubleshooting experience with end-user hardware and common peripherals.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites (Akron and Barberton) with excellent time management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms and documentation
