Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
• • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and help desk personnel.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the directorate's mission and objectives.
  • Manage the IT budget and ensure the effective allocation of resources.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.
  • Mentor and develop IT staff, providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Represent the directorate's IT interests in meetings with senior leadership, other government agencies, and industry partners.
• IT Infrastructure and Operations:
• • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the directorate's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
  • Manage the IT help desk and provide timely and effective support to users.
  • Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment.
• Agile and DevSecOps Support:
• • Support agile software development teams by providing the necessary IT infrastructure, tools, and services.
  • Promote the adoption of DevSecOps practices to automate software delivery and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with software developers to ensure that IT systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ensure that IT systems are compliant with security and compliance requirements.

• Mandatory:
• • U.S. Citizenship
  • Must have a Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, and security.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Air Force IT policies and regulations.
• Preferred:
• • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience working in a government or military environment.
  • Experience with DevSecOps
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
