Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up & Operation of Amada Press Brake Machine.
• Ensure proper tooling and fixturing as well as reporting operation times.
• Interfacing programmers, engineers and other team members for problem solving.
• Worked with tolerances of +-.005" in sheet metal up to " thick.
• Can perform single and multiple set ups on single brake Press Machine.
• Program and form parts at press brake using blueprint within designated tolerance Record inspection measurements using dial/digital calipers, protractors, and height gages.
• Work with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and copper materials.
• Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list.
• Maintain orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, ESD, part handling and inventory points within Fabrication.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or by reading measurements
• Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to Manager to obtain additional resources or direction.
• Complete preventive maintenance by schedule/instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed.
• Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures Other tasks as assigned by Management.
• Qualifications:
• Experience of at least 3-5 years recent experience with running, set-up and operation of press brakes, recent Amada press brake experience preferred.
• Experience with Deburr machines, Turret Punch Presses, Shears and Haegers a plus Has performed single and multiple setups on one press brake.
• Require ability to read blueprints, dial & digital calipers & height gauges.
• Able to form parts within tolerance as tight as +-.005" Program own dimensions off blueprints preferred.
• Must have worked with aluminum, steel & stainless materials.
• Works well both independently and as a team player.
• Oral and written communication skills for a team environment Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical High School Diploma or Equivalent
