Join us!**POSITION SUMMARY**:We are seeking a motivated and experienced **Manager, Legal Counsel** to join our in-house legal team. This role will be responsible for supporting the company’s contracting processes, including the review, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements. Additionally, the position will provide strategic and operational support to the litigation team on active and potential legal matters.**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS****:****Contracting & Commercial Support*** Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and technology-related contracts* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and legal risk tolerance* Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and process improvements to streamline legal operations* Provide training and guidance to business teams on contract policies and procedures**Litigation Support*** Assist in managing litigation matters, including coordinating with outside counsel, gathering internal documentation, supporting discovery efforts, and attending hearings, depositions, and meditations* Evaluate claims, prepare case assessments, and advise on potential exposure and settlement strategy* Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, severance agreements, and related documentation* Support internal investigations and dispute resolution efforts* Help maintain litigation databases and case tracking systems**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:*** Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Ohio or at least one other state, with an ability to become licensed in Ohio* 2+ years of legal experience* Experience in contract negotiation and commercial transactions* Exposure to litigation management and dispute resolution.
