Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Start date: 04/27/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (36 hours per week). Travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay: $1,944–$1,953 per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments per policy
- Assess and reassess pain, implement appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patient and family on pain control
- Develop and revise the plan of care based on patient response; evaluate daily for effectiveness
- Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan, consistent with standard of care
- Administer medications correctly, following the five rights; tailor administration to age and clinical condition
- Create and activate teaching plans; evaluate learning effectiveness and involve family as appropriate
- Maintain a safe patient environment, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and document per current standards
- Communicate clearly with unit leadership, physicians, and care teams; serve as a liaison between patient, family, and care providers
- Demonstrate competency in equipment operation and maintain annual clinical competencies, including bedside glucose testing where applicable

Requirements
- Active Ohio or compact RN license at time of submission
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (AHA) required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience (required); postpartum and nursery experience (required)
- Education: BSN degree preferred
- Additional: COVID vaccination status; if vaccinated, provide vaccination card
- Education/experience alignment: Postpartum and nursery experience strongly preferred for this role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
