About the Role

Premier Home Pros is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Order & Pallet Audit to support our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for auditing outbound shipments and inbound receipts to ensure order accuracy, proper pallet configuration, and compliance with shipping and packaging standards. The ideal candidate helps prevent damage, shortages, and customer claims through careful inspection and documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Audit outbound orders to verify correct SKUs, quantities, and shipping documentation

• Inspect pallet builds for proper stacking, weight distribution, and stability

• Verify packaging integrity, including stretch wrap, strapping, corner boards, and pallet condition

• Confirm accuracy of shipping labels, carton labels, and documentation

• Audit inbound receipts for visible damage, accurate counts, and packaging condition

• Document and report discrepancies, damages, or non-compliance issues

• Partner with shipping, receiving, and warehouse leadership to resolve issues

• Assist with rework, repalletization, and corrective actions as needed

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with customer-specific pallet and packaging requirements

• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce shipping errors and product damage

• Maintain accurate audit logs and inspection records

Tools & Equipment

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) or shipping software

• RF scanners

• Pallet jacks and hand trucks

• Forklifts or reach trucks (certification required)

Safety First

• Follow all warehouse safety policies and PPE requirements

• Ensure pallets and loads are safe to move before transport

• Report unsafe conditions or hazards immediately

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse audit experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Basic computer and math skills
